Old Boys Association:

The students who have studied under the benevolent shelter of the Mutt have now occupied respectable and high profile positions in Government, Public and Private Sectors, in Educational Institutions. To get themselves actively involved in all the functions and activities the Old Students of the Mutt, with the gracious consent of their Guru, Sree Sivakumara Swamigalu, formed "Old Students' Association" in the year 1954. At the request of the students Sree Swamiji has been its guiding spirit as its President. Any of the activities of the Mutt, the Association volunteers to take up the entire responsibility to organize any programme of the Mutt. The members of the Association have also been keeping close ties with the present roll of students and thus enlighten them about their future responsibility towards the Mutt. For example organizing the Annual Agriculture and Industry Fair and the Exhibition and also the Annual Fair is its one of the responsibilities. In the year 1965 on Makara Sankramana day the Association started a Quarterly Journal "Siddaganga". Since 1975 it is issued as a monthly journal and is printed in the Sree Siddalingeshwara Press, situated in the premises of the Mutt. There are around 7000 Member subscriptions to this Journal, among which 2000 are Life Members.
