Sree Siddaganga Mutt is an ancient ashram fostering a continuous line of illustrious "Shiva Yogi Siddapurushas". The Mutt was established by Sree Gosala Siddeshwara Swamiji in 15th century A.D.

In this tradition of illustrious shivyogis, it has progressed with unique contributions from Sree Sree Ataveeshwara Swamigalu, Sree Sree Uddana Shivayoigalu and the present head of the Mutt His Holiness Dr. Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamigalu

The Mutt is situated amidst a divenly serene and colorful landscape at a distance of 63 Km from Bangalore, India. In the later years, developed in to a much visited piligrimage.

Sree Siddaganga Mutt is a unique Gurukula providing education to more than 8000 poor children with free food and shelter, without any discrimination of caste or creed. The Mutt also runs a blind school & nearly 100 blind children are given free education & food with an idependent hostel facility.

The Mutt established Sree Siddaganga Education Society in 1962 & runs more than 130 educational institutions. The Mutt also organises annual Agricultural & Industrial exhibition for the benefit of Farmers.
